Soma Cruz, post Aria of Sorrow, pre Dawn of Sorrow. Specifically taken from my friend Ruri's fic, A Name. He's from the year 2035, by the way.
Reincarnation of Dracula. Dumbass teen. Age 19.
He and Dracula are currently bodysharing, and are weird friends.
Bad news: he's Dracula's reincarnation????
Yeah so, turns out, little under 40 years ago, Julius with the help of Arikado - otherwise known as Alucard, Dracula's son - defeated Dracula for Good, at the cost of Julius' memories. And Then Dracula Reincarnated. And That Reincarnation Is Soma. Whoops!
There's a brief scare where Soma almost loses his soul to Dracula's influence, but otherwise, it's all chill. Julius gets his memories back. Soma defeats Chaos Itself with his friend's help and, despite being a reincarnation of Dracula's soul, the Dracula thing seems... okay. Managed. Sora's not going to turn evil any time soon, or anything!
And then this is the part where I tell you I stole Soma from my friend's fic, A Name is a Powerful Thing, so let's break down what that's about.
After Aria of Sorrow, Soma finds that Dracula's power is... returning. Strengthening. He's having nightmares, can converse with the dark lord, and when his attention slips Dracula can take control of his body. His guardians are worried, so Yoko cooks up a seal that will keep Dracula under wraps. Mina suggests that instead of merely attempting to suppress Dracula's soul, Soma try and... talk with Dracula. Come to some kind of an understanding.
It takes some doing and some scares, but finally they reach an understanding of each other, and Drac and Soma arrive on a deal. Drac gets to sleep, gets the peace he deserves, the peace he's always wanted. Soma gets to live his goddamn life without having to worry about succumbing to the dark lord’s control and plunging the world into eternal night or have to kill his friends with his own hands. Pretty solid deal!
And it's from there, all-but-the-last-scene-of-chapter-8 of A Name that we yank Soma, with Drac in tow. Drac's awake again (please consult important meme on the matter) and Soma's having A Time but is honestly nice to have his bodysharing buddy back...? And Drac promises he's not going to cause trouble while they're away from home. Nice.

Soma wakes up in a new world, meets Solid fucking Snake, and has the best day of his life. Er, except the rando new kid nearly killing his new friend, which would be more stressful if she wasn't immortal and if the rando wasn't clearly dealing with the exact same Possessed By Some Greater Power that Soma's dealing with himself. Whoof. What a fucking day.⇢ another soul (interlude)
Soma bonds with Jade over her extremely grandma memes. And also discovers Dracula is awake again!! Worrying, but Drac promises he's not going to cause any trouble, so... it's fine!⇢ of loss, of grief, of hope
Kratos and Dracula (Soma tagging along) talk about the people they've lost, the people they're grieving, and bond.⇢ Never Have I Ever.
Team F plays Never Have I Ever. In retaliation for all the vampire jokes lobbed at him, Soma hits Jade with every dog joke he can think of.⇢ yeet

Team F discusses Jade's conditional immortality. Soma and Jade consider doing something incredibly stupid For Science but Kratos talks them out of it.

A man who said "fuck god" and decided to become the literal antithesis to all things considered Good, believing the world needed that balance. Died, got resurrected, died, got resurrected—an endless cycle perpetuated by humanity. Frankly, he's exhausted by the very concept of continuing this nonsense.
He was destroyed for good in 1999 and reincarnated as Soma Cruz. He wanted nothing to do with that at first, but after Soma struck a deal with him in A Name, he's learned to have some respect for the boy.
He's not happy he's awake again, and would like to go home more than Soma does, but supposes as long as he's awake and they're in strange territory, he might as well make himself useful to Soma. After all, even if he wants his eternal peace, he can't say he wants to go like this.
