Team: M

Mythra, taken from a post XC2/XB1 AU where the worlds merged and now she and her siblings are just dicking around and doing shit like answering distress signals for multidimensional problems.

Aegis. All-powerful being. Could raze countries with a thought and, with her sibling's help, bend universes to her whim. Is here to do exactly that. Er, bending universes, not razing countries, that is.

HISTORY.

One of the Trinity Processor’s three cores. After the universe split and her father, Klaus, the Architect, created blades, and Mythra herself was embodied as a blade—an Aegis, one of the two most powerful blades on the planet.

Mythra was awoken a year after her brother Malos was, for the sole purpose of putting a stop to his rampage. Nothing about the journey was necessarily bad, but Addam was too scared of her power to be a good driver. That, along with the fact Mythra’s too baby to really be good at social skills and—understandably—sets herself apart from everyone else she knows in terms of skill, power, and importance… Her relationships were rocky, and her companions had little patience for her, besides.

Not to say she didn’t enjoy her travels during Torna, but though she was at her most confident, her life wasn’t exactly perfect. Forced to fight Malos, pushed to the brink by her brother, Mythra loses control and nukes an entire Titan and the country living on its back—including a handful of her close friends. Overridden with shame and guilt, Mythra creates Pyra, an alternate personality who can handle things for her.

Addam sinks Pyra—Mythra riding along in the backseat of Pyra’s mind, asleep but still partially aware—to the bottom of the cloud sea. A little excessive, dude? And there she and Pyra sleep for five hundred years.

Pyra is woken up before Mythra is, but Mythra isn’t far behind. Their driver—a boy named Rex—resonates with Pyra on accident, and since Pyra and Mythra are sharing a brainspace, well. Anyway there’s JRPG shenanigans, a little bit of crushing on Nia, befriending Poppi, and wondering why the hell Jin (her friend five hundred years ago) is now dating her brother (Malos)???

All this while letting Rex deliver them to their father’s doorstep so that they can beg their father to let them die.

That ends up not happening, Rex and everyone else (especially Nia) giving them the will to keep on living. Er, presumably. Honestly this is where XC2’s writing fails because it literally does not resolve Mythra no longer wanting to die OR her being terrified of her own power, whoops!

Regardless, shenanigans happen, Jin dies, Malos dies but less permanently, and TECHNICALLY Mythra and Pyra die but their father undoes that and then grants them separate bodies, or like, something.

What matters is the two universe merge and Alvis is here and they wake Malos back up and now the four siblings are here to shenanigans. Or, you know, help Alvis out with bullshit.

“What about Pneuma?” Pneuma??? Sounds fake.

Alvis asks his siblings for a favor. Mythra agrees readily.

Mythra explains to her team what they're doing here. Gets into a shouting match with Dave over it because Dave hates this.

Shows up briefly at the end to send the Kratoses back where they belong. Well, her Kratos, anyway. Asshole Kratos she sends to where it's going to hurt him, which is mentioned in finesse though Mythra isn't on screen for that fic.

⇢ bro what the fuck

Mythra yells at Alvis for pulling strings so that the Kratoses were forced to interact, and more importantly endangering her Kratos by teleporting him to the wrong coordinates. She threatens to punch Alvis in the face next time they meet in person.

Shows up briefly at her teammates' request to attempt to help Dave. Extremely out of her element, shirks the duty off to Malos instead.
