Mithos, from YWKON, a TOS/XC2 AU. Er, he's from WBYWKON actually, which is RP shenanigans flavor of YWKON which involves Kratos+Anna+Mithos roadtrip, and also being visited by ToS vanilla Sheena and Lloyd for shenanigans.
Blade, Aegis. Party DPS. Physically 14, chronologically over 400.
Same kind of Aegis as Colette, different from Mythra and the rest.
The Aegis cannons were horrible, terrible machines. Being made to power one was an experience close to torture. Kratos and Martel freed Mithos eventually, but only after he’d come to hate humanity and lose all trust in his Father, convinced that he never cared about his children. (A fair assumption, given that he created blades to be tied to drivers to begin with, and also abandoned Mithos and Martel both to years of suffering at the hands of humanity. Whether or not he meant ill is not something Mithos cares about.)
Together with Kratos and Martel, they set out to put an end to the human’s war, and succeeded. But it did not buy them peace like they hoped. Within a decade, Sylvarant murdered Martel and stole shards of her shattered core crystal, and within a century, the world at large was warring again, without consideration of Mithos or Kratos’ opinions. Why would humanity ever listen to blades? They don’t care about his kind. They never have.
Confident in this, Mithos hid himself away in his tower, where humanity could never touch him again.
Fast forward several hundred years, to when Kratos starts fraternizing with a human village and a human woman named Anna. Jealous that so much of his brother’s time is being eaten up by someone who isn’t him, and confident that the town wants nothing good for Kratos (despite being comprised mostly of blades), Mithos schedules a little… accident. He hijacks Tethe’alla’s cannon while Zelos is in routine testing, tells the cannon to fire, razing Anna’s village. He regrets it within weeks of doing it, but that doesn’t change the fact he murdered an entire village of people in a fit of jealousy. No one knows, and he hopes it stays that way, though the self-loathing threatens to eat him whole.
Five years later, WBYWKON begins. WBYWKON aka “We Broke YWKON” is an alternate version of YWKON explored through RP; in which ToS Sheena and ToS Lloyd hop universes, free Zelos, and several other things happen. For Mithos, the plot beings when Martel—fused with Colette ten years early, and their escape attempt foiled—is shoved in Sylvarant’s cannon, which fires. Three. Times. Absolutely not about to leave his sister in a cannon, but also unable to do anything when each cannon shot renders him useless due to the fact he’s shoved the other half of Martel’s shards in his own core crystal, Mithos separates Martel’s shards out, leaving him to need a driver again…
ToS Lloyd ends up driving him. It’s not the best case scenario, but unless he wants to steal Kratos from his wife (again) (they resonated with each other while Mithos wasn’t looking) he’s out of luck. The good news is that he warms up to Lloyd pretty quickly. Figuring out that their Father is the same man just displaced several thousand years helps. Mithos also learns to get along with Anna, and adopts Zelos very thoroughly and completely.
Other WBYWKON things that happen: they rescue Martel/Colette, hassle god, Mithos and Lloyd’s father (sweet sweet catharsis), and also figure out how to rewrite the blade system so it sucks less. Lloyd and Sheena head back home (to Mithos’ dismay, he’ll miss his brother) and they find WBYWKON’s Lloyd, which is good for Anna and Kratos but mostly weird for Mithos because his ride-or-die brother is now like, his nephew, and a child, and will never understand him like ToS Lloyd did. At least he’s got his Aegis siblings, he guesses??
(WBYWKON concludes 2-4 years before DYWC happens.)

OUTSIDE DYWC.
Mithos is woken up in a world he doesn't recognize with Chara as his driver. He kind of hates this a lot, especially since he shouldn't need a driver anymore. However, he and Chara come to an understanding, bonding over their shared hatred of humanity. Unfortunately they're all stuck together, though, with no clear way home for any of them.⇢ there must be some finesse
Mithos meets with Kratos Aurion, literally his dad, asshole who he hates, etc. He yells a lot about how Kratos hurt Lloyd and then storms off, unable to put up with being around the man who hurt his brother and seems oblivious about it for even a second longer.⇢ Anna: Reunite with your husband (Mithos can come too)
Mithos and Anna get to reuinite with their Kratos. And, like, meet his teammates, but mostly it's just nice family reunion on the beach with a side of discussing how weird this is, and how weird the Malos thing is.⇢ you could say something poetic about the past clinging like a cape or you could just admit nightmares blow and trauma isn't fair
Dave has a nightmare, and overreacts. Mithos spends most of his time keeping Chara distracted from the mess, because it's bringing up bad memories for them. He also does a little bit of Aegis bullshit in there, and bitches to himself about how he hates that Mythra and Malos apparently rank higher than him as Aegises in this world.⇢ the most disaster gay
Joseph infodumps about Replica nonsense. Mithos hates that he's gay for This, Apparently. Chara laughs at him in the background.⇢ "what the fuck is a tomato"
Dave does some raps about tomatoes. Mithos doesn't know what the fuck that is. Chara and Anna are also there. (Old YWKON joke I'll never drop.)⇢ different dialects
