Same kind of Aegis as Mithos, different from Mythra and the rest. Different universe from Mithos+Kratos+Anna, though.
Sylvarant decided to graft her with shards of the original Aegis, Martel—a plan which Colette willingly agreed to, seeing that she couldn’t imagine her life getting much worse. It worked too well. With Martel awake and sharing Colette’s core and body, Martel took one look at captivity and said never again and promptly booked it, something Colette never had the courage to ever even try. They get as far as Iselia before they’re killed. Lloyd finds their shared core crystal and awakens them, becoming their driver.
On the run with Lloyd and several friends he picks up—including his father, who was Martel’s old driver—they avoid the capture from both Sylvaranti and Tethe’allan governments, rescue Colette’s brother Zelos from Tethe’alla, and then talk Martel’s brother Mithos—the other original Aegis—down from trying to destroy either himself or all of humanity. YWKON ends with Lloyd, Colette, and Zelos working together to rewrite the blade system to make blades stable without a driver, and resonance a choice.
System successfully rewritten and Colette with her own body again, she and Lloyd and Zelos plan to just settle down and live the quiet lives they deserve amongst Lloyd’s extended family. It… goes, minus the fact that Colette and Zelos’ mother (Miang) has figured out not only where her children are but also apparently her ex, and That’s A Fun Time. It mostly involves rescuing a kidnapped Lloyd and then Some Other Bullshit that will probably come up in a DYWC installment at some point. The takeaway is that Colette’s relationship with her mother is Complicated, Okay, but I’m not rehashing all of YWKON2 here for you.
Colette is from a different universe than the rest of the YWKON cast present in DYWC. While Colette is from vanilla YWKON, Kratos and Mithos and Anna are from WBYWKON, which is mostly RP shenanigans. This will be relevant, trust me.
Also, though they fixed the blade system in YWKON, it went back to “broken” in DYWC for ~Secret Lore Reasons~, so Colette needs a driver again.

Colette wakes up with someone she just met as her driver, which is weird, and even worse -- despite fixing the blade system so she shouldn't need resonance -- the system is broken again, and she's stuck with him. At least Sora seems nice? He doesn't seem to mind. So that's okay. Oh, and Silver's here too.⇢ Pyra: Explain what's Up
Colette meets the other half of her team, and is immediately winded by three faces she recognizes that don't recognize her. She's not having a great time, but she's willing to put up with it. At least Pyra's explaination of what they're meant to do makes sense.⇢ homesick
Colette introduces Sora to the dreamspace, and they talk about friends, and family, and homes, and frankly it gets to be too much for Colette to handle. She misses her family so much. Sora walks her through the resulting panic attack, and gives her advice. Yeah, he's not a bad friend at all.⇢ maybe you'll do better than the other you could
Colette talks to Anna about Miang, giving Anna a warning since they're from two different universes and Anna hasn't met Miang yet. Also like, feelings complicated.⇢ nova
